Spain was our last stop of the year and started to win us over the minute we walked out of the train station. Barcelona is a truly gorgeous city. The architecture is stunning, the people are beautiful, and the weather is fantastic. The pace of life is slower and the schedule is later and more relaxed. We will miss so much about life in Barcelona — the beautiful park where we loved to walk, the lively beach atmosphere, strolling the breathtaking streets, gazing at elegant buildings, watching street performers, and breathing in the smells drifting from the restaurants.
Here’s a slideshow of our favorite memories from Spain, and some fun stats about our time here.

Goodbye To This Year, Hello Again to Colorado
I have tears in my eyes just writing the words goodbye to this year. Our final days of the year were spent enjoying the beach, some very hot daily walks, and one last trip to get gelato. We fly home to Colorado early tomorrow morning, bringing this remarkable year long adventure to an end. My mom will pick us up at the airport, just like she dropped us off exactly 365 days ago. Our bags are packed for the final time — next stop, Colorado!
