About Us
Who We Are: We’re a family of four living in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. Dave has spent the past 25 years in software development, and is the fixer of all the things. Jill dedicated the kids’ early years to being a stay-at-home mom before working part-time at an elementary school. Alexis (14), is our extrovert and a passionate reader. Braxton (11), loves the outdoors, math and video games.
We’re your average family—that decided to spend a year doing something different.
Our Big Adventure: Starting at the end of June 2025 we embarked on a year-long journey of international travel. We home-schooled the kids, lived out of one backpack each, and immersed ourselves in new cultures.
